SHIPPING POLICY

 

1. Delivery Hours & Order Information

1.1 Deliveries operate between the hours of 08:00AM and 20:00PM. Any orders made after 12:00PM will only be processed the following business day.  

1.2 All orders will require a signed Proof of Delivery. Unwillingness to sign this document will result in a return of the order and returned to our distribution partner, Bean27, who will contact the customer for clarification and possible redelivery.

 

2. Security of Orders

2.1 Please ensure the individual accepting the order is the same individual placing the order. In the interest of security, no driver will hand-over an order to security or any individual who has not placed the order, unless special instruction is provided. DIT and its drivers hold no responsibility for the security or condition of the order once the order has been accepted.

2.2 Drivers are prohibited from entering any household premises or office buildings. Please accept your delivery at the door or at your gate. 

 

3. Delivery Lead-Times and Service Areas

3.1. DIT orders made through the standard delivery system within the Johannesburg and Pretoria Metropolitan, Cape Town, and Durban and surrounding areas have a twenty-four-hour to fourty-eight-hour lead-time to make the delivery.

3.2. DIT orders made through the standard delivery system within the outlying areas of major metropolitan areas have a fourty-eight-hour to seventy-two-hour lead-time to make the delivery.

 

4. Unpredictable Events

4.1 Please note, weather conditions, accidents, road-works, strikes, unusual traffic or any event that may delay the delivery-time of an order is outside of Bean27 and other distribution service provider’s control, and may, when necessary, result in an occasionally late order, which will be communicated ahead of time.

Refund and Returns Policy

1. Ownership & Liability of Orders

1.1 All goods ordered through DIT will carry the manufacturer’s warranty and associated risk of ordered goods until the point of the order being handed over to the customer. All damages, theft, or disappearance of goods post-delivery of the order will be the responsibility of the customer who placed the order with DIT.  

 

1.2 DIT holds no liability for accidental or mistaken orders through the DIT orders portal. If items unintended are ordered, a return request can be made to DIT after delivery of the order. A collection fee will be issued for any collection of returns. Returns or replacements are not provided for any product that has been opened/unsealed.

 

2. Returns & Damaged Goods

2.1 In the event a return is requested, the customer will be required to log a request with our distribution partner, Bean27, at sales@bean27.com, provide photos of the stock, an eligible copy of the signed invoice, and provide a reason for the return. It is as the discretion of Bean27 to accept or reject a returns request. 

 

2.2 In the event goods are damaged (damaged packaging, damaged goods, leaking, and tears present), the customer has the right to reject the order upon receipt and request either company credit or replacement of the damaged goods. This must be noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) note. If there is no note made on the POD, Bean27 is not responsible for facilitating the return nor any requested refund or replacement.
